WSSC hosted us for a visit to their “The Patuxent Water Filtration Plant Phase II Expansion and UV Disinfection Facilities” on January 11th.
The tour included a discussion on:
• Improvements to the Patuxent Water Filtration Plant
• Expansion of main process structure
• Replacement of existing Secondary Unit Substation
• Addition of UV Disinfection
• Addition of a new Orthophosphate Building
• Improvements to the finished water distribution piping
• Addition of new Residuals Handling facilities
