Mr. Charles E. Lattuca, Executive Director of Transit Development and Delivery with MDOT gave a talk on “The Metro Purple Line” on September 20th, 2018. The talk was presented at EJ’s Provision in Laurel, MD.
Speaker Biography:
Mr. Charles Lattuca is an accomplished transportation executive with over 20 years experience in transportation management, project development and delivery, public policy and strategic planning.
Mr. Lattuca is responsible for managing the $5.6 billion P3 contract for the construction and operation of the Purple Line; a new 16.2 mile Light Rail Transit System being built in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.
Prior to joining MTA, Mr. Lattuca held executive positions at Baltimore City DOT, Montgomery County DOT and the New York State Thruway Authority. Mr. Lattuca also served as Assistant Director of State Operations in the New York State Governor’s Office where he oversaw policy, programs and budgets for multiple State agencies and offices, including the NYS Department of Transportation.
Mr. Lattuca is a U.S. Navy veteran and is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego.
