Mr.David Egan gave a talk on “Fluid Pressure and Flow and Methods of Measurement” on September 25th, 2019. The talk was presented at EJ’s provision in Laurel, MD.
Mr. David Egan is President of Cemtech Energy Controls, a distributor and manufacturer’s representative for process control instrumentation. Cemtech is responsible for sales in eastern PA, southern NJ, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia. Their customer base includes power generation, pulp and paper, biotech & pharma, specialty chemicals, refining and others, such as HVAC. Dave’s specialization includes liquid and gas analytical systems, field instruments, data acquisition & control systems and advanced analytical systems. Cemtech’s client base includes, among others, Pepco, BG&E, NRG Power, University of Maryland, Veolia, NIH, NIST, Merck and Bechtel. Dave also served as a senior economist for Law and Economics Consulting Group in Washington, DC, where he provided consulting services to Fortune 100 customers on liabilities and strategies in the mergers and acquisition process. He was a senior associate with Coopers & Lybrand in DC, specializing in consulting services for their litigation and claims division. He served as an economic analyst for The Center for Forensic Economic Studies in Philadelphia, where he performed economic analysis of damages stemming from personal injury and wrongful death cases. He received BAs in Economics and International Relations from Brown University in 1988 and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown in 1994.
