Mr.Larry Adams and Mike Ozatalar, P.E. gave a talk and live demonstration of “Tesla Coils” on September 26th, 2017. The talk was presented at the Montgomery College’s Germantown Campus in Germantown, MD.
Speaker Biographies:
Mr. Michael Ozatalar, P.E.
Mr. Ozatalar is an Electrical Engineer and Tesla enthusiast. He works at Parsons Federal as their Vice President and Manager of Engineering and Construction. Mr. Ozatalar serves on the MDSPE Potomac Chapter Board of Directors asPresident and also serves on the District of Columbia Council of
and Architectural Societies (DCCEAS) as Treasurer. He has designed and built several Tesla Coils and enjoys researching the works of Nikola Tesla.
Mr. Larry Adams
Mr. Adams has long history with Tesla coils. He has built both spark gap types and solid state coils. He has also worked on Radar, Laser printing, and Cell phone circuits. Included in his interest is Nuclear Physics. Mr. Adams attended V.P.I. and has a degree in Electrical Engineering from UVA.
